Embracing the aesthetic of a different sport each season, Thom Browne’s Gamme Bleu label from French brand Moncler has reappropriated the stylings of Formula 1 racing for Fall/Winter 2012. The idea was inspired by three-time Formula 1 champion Ayrton Senna, who suggested the theme to Browne himself. Jumpsuits, jackets, scarves, and shorts each fashioned in a consistent and chromatic color palate round out the collection. The range includes a number of quilted items encompassing both formal and casual looks.
