Continuing their premium OTW campaign, Vans have just added this new colorway of their Frazier model to the run. As per the remainder of the series, the Frazier remains faithful to its skate-roots but is aimed at a more fashion-oriented demographic. Created using premium materials including a particularly resilient outer fabric and an orange leather lining, the shoe is finished with the classic vulcanised outsole and traditional side stripe. The Vans OTW Frazier is now available at Urban Industry.

    Its expected for other companies to copy off vans, but not vice versa. Not the right move by vans as far as the integrity of their image goes. Now its blatant that theyre in it for the money, which of course is always one of the primary motives for a brand, but this shouldnt ever come at the price of compromising originality and design authenticity. Ive always given Vans props and still continue to for the most part but something like this does not deserve praise. Vans is not the first company to do so, in fact when a company is coming up with some banal spin off of what ever other shoe, its usually a vans original thats being tweaked or w.e other classic shoe with a timeless reverenced configurational design from any company for that matter, but if a company as iconic as vans does it, it reinforces the trend of sneaker companies just ripping off each other and innovation is lost.
