Robert Geller 2010 Fall/Winter Jewelry

September 8, 2010Styleby Staff16 Views

As usual, the jewelry portion of Robert Geller’s collection is beautiful in its simplicity. There’s a really unique balance between the industrial and romantic, which makes the pieces unlike other options around. Seven different styles are made available, including an assortment of bracelets and rings, all of which can be found directly through Blackbird, and Blackbird Ballard, the retailer’s online store.

i’ve come to the conclusion that people who’d by this sort of thing, or either just label whores, or just have way to much fucking money that it’s a non issue. The last one is cool looking, but damn, I could get any of this from a street vendor for twenty dollars tops

Aside from the first and last pieces Im not impressed. Granted they wouldnt be if you were paying 15$ from a street vendor. Im sorry but as an artist seeing bangles sell for $260+ for “antiqued brass” is crrazzzyyy especially when they are made from stock materials you can purchase at any jewelry supplier.
There is some really amazing stuff going on out there, and this is what you report on? Come on Hype you need to start pushing real design and real quality product or you are going to lose credibility, or just stay away from jewelry and stick to sneakers.
