Shep was never a “street” artist, he attended RISD one of the top fine art colleges in America. He did push wheat pasting and poster bombing to new amazing levels, and has reached epic amounts of fame for his illegal advertising. And that is what it is, he advertised himself illegally, and then rolled that fame into a pile of money and multiple successful business. I think that was the plan all along, he didn’t sell out. Congrats

I am a big big fan of Shepard Fairey his Supply and Demand book is amazIng. I also quite like this collection it’s simple and stylish and if the quality is also good I think I would definitely purchase some of the outerwear. But I am failing to see the correlation between this and what I thought Obey as a brand was all about. This is such a radical departure from even last seasons clothing, it’s left me a little perplexed. It would be good to see the mood boards and the inspiration as this is evolution taken to the nth degree…
