The A Bathing Ape empire is set to open an all new Asian location as Singapore represents the latest outpost. The retailer will be located within the Mandarin Gallery with a opening date just in time for Christmas on December 17th. Also seen is the exclusive t-shirt looking to drop alongside the store’s opening.

    Visited the shop today, proves me right again, the japanese keeps all the good stuff for themselves and export the shittest products. Spoke with the Tokyo Bape staff who happen to be here to help with the shop opening, they also admit this is the japanese culture. Will not recommend anyone to shop there…

    stupid merlion t-shirt,yet opening in sg.i remember i stay over night in hk,and queue up outside their shop in sheung wan @7am just to buy their jeans n shoes,now they are opening in singapore,i’m a singaporean..should feel happy for it BUT i DON”T!!!!! basket,when i’m in sg,they dun open,when i leave sg,then they open..what the??? selling that t-shirt in hk,maybe got pple buy..but in sg,wait long long…

    Lol.I’m a SINGAPOREAN and i think i’m a more applicable person to comment. I think that Merlion design is stupid.Merlion should only be used in tees for tourists.And they sell that for $10 at Bugis Street. Merlion is dead.Singapore has no representitive.

    I visit Bape Tokyo at least once a year (3 times last year), this tee looks very very average comparing to all the goodies they have in the 3 Tokyo men stores.

    I would never pay S$150 or so for this, may be you can find a similar fake in Bugis very soon for S$15. Visit http://www.bape.com and you will understand it is Japanese culture that the best stuff will never be exported including fashion, cars and electronic goods.

    lol i lived in singapore for a while when i was a kiddo
    last time i visited..
    met some friends
    and i remember having a 30 minute convo about bape
    and how they think it’s still ok for them to drop new stuff
    i loved the old bape stuff
    but now i’ts just like 50 cent’s music
    give it up already…
