As the Winter season unwinds before our eyes, DQM showcases its new collection via the classic lookbook format. The complete line looks to release at DQM tomorrow November 19th and within the Webstore in Monday, November 23rd, 2009. Kyle from DQM offers a brief description of the shoot:

“The pool had about three feet of water in it when we rolled up. After a couple hours of pumping, bucketing and skating the shallow end, we finally got to skate the deep end before the sun went down. Thanks to Todd Jordan, Chris Keeffe, Ryan Giese, Ben Baptiste, John Igei, Curtis Rapp, Pat Cook, and the Pool.”

    Come on fellas, a look book’s a look book. Tees, button ups, hoodies, jackets, pants and hats. What more do you guys want? Lazer beams and shit shooting at you through your monitor? Lazer beams shooting at you through your monitor WOULD be kinda cool, though. Just due to the fact of accomplishing such a technological feat.

    The problem I has with this look book is that while I’m “look”ing at this “book” I can’t seem to see much of the clothing. Nice trees, though.

    I agree that the outdoor influence has gotten way too strong in all of streetwear in the past couple seasons but I think DQM really came correct with this lookbook – they tied the outdoor/workwear inspired clothing back in with their roots, pure skating.

    Don’t know where the hell that spot is… looks pretty out of the way, but at least they rehabilitated a great looking pool for any sasquatches wandering around up there looking for a sesh.
