wel let me just say i like both the zune and the ipod for different reasons but all of you are comparing the new iod nano to the zune hd. the zune hd is supposed to be like the itouch so since this new nano is smaller it appeals to more ppl because it is also like the zune hd so zune loses this batle until they come out with a zune mini that records video because some ppl just like a small device which is what the nano is

Jon, I feel you. Just bought a mac book pro for school and opted for the free nano instead of the touch. It just came a few days ago and now this! I seem to be always one generation behind with my iPod. I wonder if they will let me exchange it…ha ha no way.

Damn, now I need to upgrade.

  6. Posted by: dJc on September 11, 2009 at 5:49 pm

Is it really THAT much better? The screen is slightly stretched, but now there is space space as album artwork is square. Radio, year great if you wana burn battery like a hummer, and i guess the video camera would be the only reason for upgrading from my nano 4g, wich is the best ipod for my by FAR! My phone has a camera, and i have a camera, i dont see the need for one in my iPod i guess. Mehh :)

Zune Zune Zune ….Apple brings out products and Apple fanboys just go buy without knowing s***. about it…..who here knows any specifications about this product.

    A video camera….yeah that’s it??

  10. Posted by: xcdee on September 10, 2009 at 3:09 pm

i’ll pass on the poor camera quality and get a zune ..hd that is.

and i did have an apple product…which was shit.

    Apple fanboys…fail

Apple is shit and I say that being a year-old macbook owner (bought it for 200 bucks and a mobile phone). Apple fanboys are no worse hypebeasts. The good thing about Apple is the user interface of their OS (phone and pc) and the design is generally good. But lets be honest here, tech-heads are more inclined towards other brands. Simply put, apple is made for dumb people who are easily distracted by shiny objects.

I’m sure Apple has levitating computers already and just milking the public slowly with little techie releases every year. But put the bluetooth-capability on the non-Touch ipods already for wireless fones! BUT…all these new perks introduced today is well worth the upgrade.

    No one’s jockin the zune.

zune hd is better than the touch in many ways…oled screen…hd radio…subscrip music.

the only reason the ipod is more popular is because it was released a full year ahead of it the zune!!

    Zune > Ipod tocuh

    1. It’s at 30 frames per second. Also its 640×480.
It’s a pretty good video camera for such a small device.

    2. I think they did good on an iPod that’s for a person who wants a music player.

    3. Why the f*ck is there a Zune HD vs. Ipod Touch on here?! This is for the new iPod Nano.

So all you Zune fanboys can stfu and go to a Zune forum or something.

  17. Posted by: wtf on September 9, 2009 at 8:49 pm

    YungOne is riiiight

  18. Posted by: tizzle on September 9, 2009 at 8:13 pm

@yungone – obviously they will always do that. its called a marketing strategy. if they put everything into the first ipod…wha tis the point about buying the new ones? think about it. its how the world goes round

  19. Posted by: conrug on September 9, 2009 at 8:11 pm

people are funny, zune hd is the equivalent of the ipod touch
which is….sweeter than zune hd especially the new one
the nano is appealing to a whole nother crowd

  20. Posted by: Sammy Kumar on September 9, 2009 at 8:03 pm

In many ways it is just another way for scene and emo girls to take pictures of themselves at odd angles, only this time they can be listening to their ipod at the same time.

  21. Posted by: dosu on September 9, 2009 at 8:01 pm

zune hd in 32gb still has nothing on a jail broken 32gb touch, 1000’s of free apps/games wins anything the hd has. also this nano with a camera is silly. but the nano is still good

  22. Posted by: YungOne on September 9, 2009 at 7:53 pm

    Apple always does this
they hold back on puttin all the upgrades into one product
so they can get you buy and buy….and buy
im not hatin on it…just pointing out facts
next generation will have wifi or some s**t
    watch

  23. Posted by: reubish on September 9, 2009 at 7:27 pm

unless the zune gets an application like itunes thats as simple and convenient to synchronize with, it will never beat the ipod.

  24. Posted by: T*I*C*O on September 9, 2009 at 7:18 pm

Fools, stop jocking the zune HD over this, first of all, the Zune has BEEN tryna beat Ipod but cant, ever. Second, the ZuneHD compares with the IPod Touch, which it doesnt beat by a long shot. Anyway, This half of an IPod touch is almost better that a Zune, Microsoft only knows how to make XBox and windows hahahahaha

  27. Posted by: yeks on September 9, 2009 at 6:08 pm

    Zune HD crushes this.

  28. Posted by: yeks on September 9, 2009 at 6:07 pm
