alife workwear dickies collection 1 ALIFE Workwear by Dickies Collection

Taking on a traditional workwear aesthetic, ALIFE team up with Dickies to produce a capsule collection, featuring the use of classic American work wear pieces. The lineup, entitled ALIFE Workwear by Dickies, boasts both pants and shorts accompanied by a minimally branded button-down work shirt and matching jacket. All pieces should see a release through ALIFE retailers, although no concrete information is available at the time.

Hey Elohino there are shorts! I like the shorts the most. I think I will go for a pair! The pants arn`t bad I think the cuffs are to tight for the most sneakers! Only work with Cons! But thats my opinion. A tee would be a nice add on!

  5. Posted by: LaCokaAnthony on August 20, 2009 at 1:57 pm

    I like.

  6. Posted by: Elohino on August 20, 2009 at 1:43 pm

    are there any shorts?

  7. Posted by: Mesk on August 20, 2009 at 1:00 pm

Man what a bunch of haters…. It looks like they refined these classic pieces with a finer fabric that will give a cleaner look and wear better. C’mon See the real thing first then shout.

i think dickies is on the way to get back to the streetwear scene lately
dickies europe was targeted for streetwear has different cuts and items than the dickies usa but same heavy “workwear materials”. so i think this is a dickies product x alife for the streetwear market and not to be compared with army navy bla bla bla

i think you will not see any worker chopping trees wearing this alife x dickies or stussy x dickies or no rebel8 x dickies

What`s your problem. You don`t get it ha???It is a nice little reference. Perhaps it is to far for ya. Anyway I will go for it. Best ALIFE colab since a long time. Stuff is dope!!!!

    why get mad at alife?

im sure dickies reached out to alife for the collab and alife just takes every oppurtunity they get…woudln’t u?

Unless these things are manufactured on some vintage loom with premium materials, what’s the point? As others have stated, you can go to wal-mart or dickies.com to get the same shit. I’ll never understand why these brands try to recreate standard/generic work-wear peaces.

  12. Posted by: Redd on August 19, 2009 at 11:25 pm

I love Dickies. So why ruin an original with a stupid endorsement? No collab. What did ALIFE bring beside their tag? Just goes to show that if you slap an overpriced name brand on something rich POSERS will buy it? Bigups to anyone who rocks DICKIES now. Fuck ALIFE and whoever thinks this “collab” is worthy.

    elemayoh. yall are some haters,
if you cant see what alifes trying
three do with such a collab. it just
    wasnt made for you.

    peace&love
    ohcee¿icoast.

    This took some real creativity.

  15. Posted by: yourMOMistheGAME on August 19, 2009 at 8:07 pm

Alife is retarded. Keep it simple Dickies. Don’t need to put a stupid ass brand collab shit over that. Stupid.

I’m with Steez McCallahan who said, “THIS IS THE BEST ALIFE PRODUCTION TO COME OUT IN SOME YEARS!!!!!!” Because the rest of Alife isn’t all that great anyways. Plain clothes with an occasional hit on the print but way overpriced and their shoes are all cheap looking knockoffs.

  17. Posted by: dickie_simpson on August 19, 2009 at 7:24 pm

If you a fan of Alife than support it! Stop with the bullshit comments because it’s getting old and lame. What’s the difference between Bape biting every facet of streetwear and charging a arm and leg? The last I recall, Alife prices are far less than what Bape charges.

  18. Posted by: Ruleyeah on August 19, 2009 at 7:18 pm

You are not hype kids you hate kids!!! Ok got your point on pricing! But paying 5 times the ammount for taps or vis is so much betta??? Imagine this as a supreme coop ??? Everybody would go nuts!!! Let us all be honest!! This is a nice and clean product!! I won’t buy it but pretty much like it!!!! Much more than your hype BAPE hoody!!! That’s it! Over and out!

  19. Posted by: Butcher77 on August 19, 2009 at 7:10 pm

Whack! Why bother? I am officially done with Alife.

  20. Posted by: Ryojiikun on August 19, 2009 at 6:16 pm

if you aint got money wear dickies, im sorry i have money so theres no point in wasting it on trash like that

  21. Posted by: barry on August 19, 2009 at 5:41 pm

i bet these freaking cost more than they do at target or walmart. stupid Alife why choose to pay more for the same stuff.

  22. Posted by: dlondon on August 19, 2009 at 5:17 pm

anyone with a job that actually requires these items of clothing will NOT be buying the alife version! but then again thats the beauty of advertising!

  23. Posted by: chanthee manyvanh on August 19, 2009 at 4:37 pm

i can get dickies at target…

  24. Posted by: Joe P. on August 19, 2009 at 4:24 pm

These pants are these here for $19.99 without the small silkscreened Alife logo
    http://www.armynavyusa.com/gc/customer/product.php?productid=6

If you go to K-Mart you can probably find them for even cheaper. Has Alife ever come up with anything original besides ripping off Nikes, Vans, Clarks, etc. for their staple collections?

  25. Posted by: Nick on August 19, 2009 at 3:45 pm

That Tan button up is dope

  26. Posted by: lyman erskine on August 19, 2009 at 3:33 pm

i can just screen print alife on a pair and they will be 2x cheeper. fucking alife

  27. Posted by: Foxy Tales. on August 19, 2009 at 3:24 pm

Collab to death.. Why can’t people get their own shit togetherrrr……

  28. Posted by: blahblah on August 19, 2009 at 3:06 pm

and plus i like this whole work wear renaissance the fashion world is going through but this kind of crap will make it a useless trend

  29. Posted by: blahblah on August 19, 2009 at 3:04 pm

way to increase the price point on work wear without even providing anything standout like higher quality materials, different cut, or better construction from the looks of it. i could get this stuff at my local army surplus/work wear store

  30. Posted by: cuthroatclothing.com on August 19, 2009 at 3:02 pm

this is the definition of overpriced garbage. everybody who said it was simple n clean should just buy white t shirts for the rest of there lives an dshut th f up

  31. Posted by: cuthroatclothing.com on August 19, 2009 at 3:00 pm

this looks like absolute garbage if u buy this u are an absolute hype unto hype this looks like sum bullshit an dif u act like its cool u know godam wel u could hav just bought dickies at osh hardware or home depot.not alife

  32. Posted by: RUP on August 19, 2009 at 2:50 pm

im not a dickies guy but i like it clean

  33. Posted by: a on August 19, 2009 at 2:48 pm

I really like this new direction alife is taking with the dickies, organic tees, button ups etc. finally showing some maturation in the collection.

are these not just dickies jackets/pants with alife written on them? please correct me if i’m wrong…but they look pretty standard…in fact, they look like workwear…

  36. Posted by: Drifta on August 19, 2009 at 2:12 pm

Oh my gosh. I love that. Best ALIFE collab ever. Crazy stuff. Dimple and clean. Real streetwear. I hope there will be a black colourway too. So good.

  37. Posted by: footeking on August 19, 2009 at 2:07 pm

Way to make inexpensive work wear over-priced shite. Really???

  38. Posted by: PA on August 19, 2009 at 2:06 pm

price is the only thing that is different
