Os Gemeos Mural NYC: Work in Progress

Brazilian brotherly duo Os Gemeos continues NYC’s artistic recognition with a new mural on the corner of Houston and Bowery, where a Keith Haring tribute piece has stood for the past year. The new piece features the signature artwork from the pair, showcasing their insane amount of expertise in the street arts, most notable with spray paint. The mural is still being finalized, but we get a peek into the product in motion.

man, FUCK THESE GUYS and their painting, KEITH LIVES! THAT SHIT WAS A MONUMENTAL PIECE OF NEW YORK, HOW DARE ANYONE TAKE IT DOWN! KEITH WAS A TRUE NYC ARTIST THAT WE NEED TO PAY HOMAGE TO!
Come on people try to use your fucking heads, it wasn’t a original keith haring and deitch gallery put that haring tribute togather, and guess what, deitch gallery reps the twins, and guess what, deitch asked the twins to paint over it.
really people try to think, its not hard.
btw, the haring mural was dope and the twins mural is going to be dope, lets just sit back and enjoy what the world gives us.

WHO CARES OF EITH HAD ACTUALLY PAINTED IT OR NOT, KEITHS WORK REPPED A PART OF NYC THAT HAS BEEN MISSING OFR QUITE SOME TIME NOW., AND WHO CARES IF THESE CATS FROM BRASIL ARE TALENTED OR NOT. THEY NOT FROM NYC. WHERES THAT NYC FLAVOR ?

It’s not like Keith painted it himself so who cares? As for Os Gemeos, their art work is amazing. Can’t wait till it’s done so I can go check it out.

Yeah they painted over it you cry babies. The Kieth Harring foundation didn’t want it up any more, in other words they don’t care if you liked it there or not. So stop hating on these dudes for giving you something to look at for free when Kieth’s foundation is being stingy.

both of them are clearly talented artist
but Keith Haring’s was much cooler and was a tribute to him and his work
hopefully Os Gemeos will be amazing and there will be a better Keith painting to come
