As a poster-child for small and innovative sneaker brands, Clae gives us the goods for the 2009 fall/winter collection. Their initial foray into the sneaker market brought us the first taste of sneaker meets shoe styling creating a more refined upper with a sneaker outsole. A preview of their 2009 fall/winter collection includes some familiar classics including the Whitman, Kennedy, Rollins, Romare Lo/Hi, Thompson and Russell.

    i hope youve actually seen Clae’s in person
    cuz they do look a lot better
    its one of those acceptions to the rule where the kicks just look better
    in person than they do on the computer
    and with Clae’s
    when they use patent leather, the body holds up beautifully
    for a loooong time
    so u can take back the cheap thing now

    ive been buying clea’s for a while now pretty much before it hit a couple clea accounts and i noticed that “CADILAC” yeap the car company made shoes just like clea like exactly alike if it was for the fact that every clea logo was replaced with cadilac there would be no difference well except that since there cadilac they look sucky lol

    and i just noticed this post makes no sense lmao =( oh welll just letting you guys know

    Weird, I just don’t like any of these. The patent leather looks so cheap and on the last one, the stripe looks so off.

    i was horrified to see patent, glad to see the pictures get better as i scroll down

    Clae is doing amazing things. They have an amazing design sensibility. I think you have to have a deep appreciation for their design to fully appreciate their line. Take a good look at their silhouettes next time you see these in person. I think the true sneaker aficionados will truly understand what Clae is doing.

    Clae has been making some really clean footwear, but I can’t stand the huge logo on the tongue. I know it shouldn’t bother me since I’m a Nike whore, but for such streamlined sneakers, the stitched lettering seems out of place and tacky.
