I couldn’t have said it better myself.

LOL and SMH at people who saying Bape isn’t original. Do you know how long Nigo has been doing this? Biggie wore Bape, let’s be serious, I would like you to come up with a couple “streetwear” brands that were out when Biggie was still alive. Do some research before making your statements that are not credible. I never owned anything with Bape on it, but I definitely have the utmost respect for Nigo and what he has accomplished. And to the guy that says it looks like the Hundreds, remember TH is still rather new, that’s like saying Michael Jordan copies Kobe Bryant’s moves, doesn’t quite make sense.

First off I don’t like Bape at all, but, I gotta say this is changing my mind.
This is the best Bape collection I have ever seen. Very strong!

I’m really not a fan of BAPE, and think it’s all about the labels and not about the style at all. However, some of this is pretty sick. Not bad. I’m a fan of the tie and shorts in the 1st photo.

The rest is OK. Not my thing, but perhaps someone elses.

    >>>the originality of it all is making his clothing a lifestyle and not just an everyday apperal >>>item.

That is such an empty statement. It’s the standard defensive response, but what does it even mean?

    This is brilliant.

Can’t wait till i hit the Bape store in New York too.

This collection most definitely shows Bape isn’t changing for the worse.

I always here people say how how this brand or that brand isn’t being original .. Seriously people, what brand isn’t taking inspriration from something else? Name a brand that is totally original. From high end brands to street brands, they are all. inspired by a certain aspect of different cultures and lifestyles. Overall .. This seems like a nice collection from bape, less branding more stylish.

  25. Posted by: Varnsey on July 7, 2009 at 4:56 pm

I love the way they’ve deleted the models to focus on the clothes, and showing the family together is pretty cool. Nice

  26. Posted by: Sally Balls on July 7, 2009 at 4:53 pm

Is it just me or does this remind you of The Hundy’s? I’m not just talking how they PS the models out like The Hundreds did a few years ago, but the whole colection looks very TH!

the originality of it all is making his clothing a lifestyle and not just an everyday apperal item. please do research before you post your 2 centz
