clearly he is another fcking puppet in the already shtty oversaturdated culture known as streetwear/ modern hiphop… Lupe fails again and will continue to do so.

@ spark, which means EBAY TIME!
yea, kids in states can make some money, considering kids from japan throw money easily

it’s funny.. some people look at picaso and see 1 thing while others look at the same piece and see something different.. I guess hearing must is like that too cause after “listening” too what Lupe said it makes perfect sense. it’s his hommage to japanese streetwear, if you like his hommage cool and if you don’t cool..

it’s not about being in a ton of stores, as he references “no stores”.. I think anyone familiar with Bapes and so many other small brands beginnings already gets this.. for those that don’t it’s replicating the obscure releases that occur on a independent level, usually for the sake of creating.

yes Lupe is inspired by HF, he chose to express it like this.. I would’ve liked to see something different but what I remind myself is that this is his expression.. not ours. Think about it. It’s all good..

lmao+o @ “how can i get exposure hypebeast”

Look on the bright side…now there is more (if not something) japanese-esque stuff to cop for those of us who cant/have difficulties trying to get a hold japanese brands…lol?? :S…

supp, things that i see from trilly and trully is a brand new label, from ehm. . LU dude
it’s lupe that we talkin about, mr superfresh talkin bout dita, nbhd, headporter, junya in 2007,
where r u guys in 2007 ? bapestore ? come on, and now u judge him just because ‘ roen bone and lighning, circle from fragment ?’
trilly and trully has their own meaning, which Lu think that represent trilly and trully the most,
even if he’s nt the designer, he’s the man who choose the design.
and the logo doesnt remind me of fragment, it’s more likely to early neighbhorhood logo on their tag,
and anyway, the market target is not united states sorry to say that = (
it’s japan, where people don’t complain shit in english, it’s where people spend their moneh on good foreigner musician clothes

    LUPE IS WACK.
hE SAID HE WOULD NEVER WEAR BAPE, NOW HE WEARING IT .

    nobodys origional!!
W/E yu think yur doing 2dae that yu think no one has done b4 … its been done.

lets just c how he flips it and how it turns out.

  17. Posted by: ModerMan on June 19, 2009 at 1:26 pm

Didnt Lupe say he doesnt wear/never will wear Bape?

  18. Posted by: BIG JOEY on June 19, 2009 at 12:38 pm

why are people impressed with this brand? not every hip hop artist needs to have a brand. and you guys make it seem like kanye and this dude (and people like him) invent this “street wear” thing. they didn’t…i never needed a celeb to dress me. i don’t know if i can say the same for the lot of you in the cyber-world.

  19. Posted by: church on June 19, 2009 at 12:19 pm

such a joke. how can he pretend to be original when he flat out said he’s copying the japanese steetwear format (embroidery, hidden tag, etc)! looks like another music artist trying to be a Renaissance man, and we know what that really means; a poser. it’s another gimmick for ducks to latch onto and spend all their money on while lupe laughs about the lack of effort put into the clothing line. lupe setting screens and pulling pigment on to his own shirts???? i doubt that. he stated he wanted to make it “small and simple” more like generic and done to death! lupe, face it, someone else has done it before you. your clothes aren’t ground breaking. you don’t own a racehorse because of your ideas in the clothing industry. why cheapen an industry you say you love so much? it’s just a prime example of people with power who lose touch.

  20. Posted by: G-bert on June 19, 2009 at 12:10 pm

To many rip off logo’s and styles combined to be an “exclusive” streetwear brand. Just because your famous doesnt mean you gotta start a streetwar company haha, thats what bape is for. Lupe go ask nigo if he will release you a tee or somthing Im sure he will..
    aha, no disrespects though right

  21. Posted by: Def on June 19, 2009 at 10:47 am

man, you’d think he’d spend some time on that website for such expensive clothes.

  22. Posted by: sneezysteez on June 19, 2009 at 9:43 am

yeah… lupe should just stick to rapping. Its not like the clothing brand stuff worked for pharell or kanye. His Fall of Rome line barely even went anywhere..

  23. Posted by: fatpat on June 19, 2009 at 8:59 am

oh no! some one is fallinf off the map quick lupe try and create hype as fast as you can to survive. He can bite styles all he wont he is done i was just hoping he would have gone out with a bit of dignity

  24. Posted by: Jarshy on June 19, 2009 at 5:06 am

all you kids talkin shit… when’s the last time you ever did anything creative regarding clothing or fashion? take a step back, keep spending your money, and let people do what you can’t.

  25. Posted by: Johnny Walker on June 19, 2009 at 3:12 am

Saw him once in person 2 years ago, he’s wearing his clothes like a Fragment whore; fenom jeans, fragment designed gears from head to toe. I guess he’d finally decided to create his version of Fragment label.

  26. Posted by: Jordan on June 19, 2009 at 3:01 am

as a huge lupe fiasco fan, I must say his line is a huge disappointment…I was expecting much more.

    Wow! @ Chase Peso

I don’t mean to be rude, but you sound like a real dick rider. You really do. Why are you getting so defensive over someone you don’t know. People have a right to post whatever comment they might have, hence the reason for the comment box. People also have a right to their own opinion whether you agree with it or not. Btw, that logo is a HUUUUUGGGEEE rip off of the fragment logo. accept it.

  30. Posted by: Humble Servant on June 18, 2009 at 11:56 pm

im Lu’s number 1 fan when it comes to the tracks.
but im just not feelin this line at all…
theres nothing Bold about it. just another mediocre, overpriced T-shirt.

  31. Posted by: x@x.com on June 18, 2009 at 11:14 pm

  34. Posted by: Vagrant on June 18, 2009 at 9:15 pm

Another unoriginal artist trying to ride onto the fashion game like Kanye. Just look at the Logo. Can’t even come up with His own original design?

…and Chase Peso.. Comments r here for a reason. Everyone here has different views and opinions. U don’t like it, than don’t read it. …and how do u know it’s kids makng these comments? I’m probably old enough to be your dad. Seems like your the kid Standing up for someone u don’t know. BTW.. Welcome to the world of the comment box.

  35. Posted by: khanghooo on June 18, 2009 at 8:58 pm

I was looking forward to Trilly and Truly, but I’m dissapointed.. and the logo doesn’t make any sense other then that it’s taken from Fragment..

  36. Posted by: Sunny on June 18, 2009 at 7:41 pm

i like it. but he needs to get of Fujiwara’s joint. no disrespect to either man.

  37. Posted by: Lazybonez on June 18, 2009 at 7:21 pm

    Logo looks kinda like Fragment…

  38. Posted by: jerry on June 18, 2009 at 6:37 pm

i love the fragment design logo he’s using, watch out kanye and pharrell, lupe’s discovered the mysterious wonders of japan.

  39. Posted by: 169music on June 18, 2009 at 6:33 pm

i love it….reminds me of neighborhood a lil but i love it its simple and the logo is SICK!!!!!! love the paris tee

  40. Posted by: A Savvy on June 18, 2009 at 6:30 pm

Great perspective. I love you Lu, but the “H” is silent. No biggie, you’re still my dude.

  41. Posted by: Chase Peso on June 18, 2009 at 5:39 pm

Yo, just a word of wisdom for all you incompitent nay sayers… If you dont got nothin positive to speak on, why even comment? I get so sick of you young love kids who think they know everything when you’ve never took a step in his shoes. When… I mean “if”… you ever get a shot at the big leagues and everybodies watchin your every move, how would you hold up against all the ignorant critics of the world such as yourself? Not nearly as successful as Lu, so shut your mouth and go find a hobbie other than ridin other artists coat tales… Punks…
