Celebrating 30 years of hand building the Austrian G-Wagen, Mercedes-Benz has unveiled an anniversary vehicle with the very same design principles and a few extra goodies. Entitled the EDITION30, two versions have made production including a higher and lower end model. The EDITION30 will be a G-Class based on the W463-chassis G500 featuring unique leather, wood interior and Platinum Black paint job. The lower end EDITION30.PUR will feature a more rugged exterior based on the older W461 chassis with G280 CDI running gear, off-road tires, headlamp guards, flexible wheel arches and optional roof rack.

    u should know this mode or this car has the best off-road performance..
    and if u r talking about fashion… try to drive one G500 or G55 if u can afford, its way more attractive than a landrover or any suv

    i disagree with LAME.. they post what people want, cool shit.. just because YOU cant afford these types of toys, dont mean they shouldnt post it.. some of us can aquire these things, as well as be into the sneakers, accessories and etc… if you dont like it, dont read about it.. they arent posting a honda accord, its too easy to obtain.. STRIVE for greater.. not knocking hondas, because they are 1 of the best automobiles, but you get my point

    been reading hype for about 2 and half years now and I finally have to comment. The answer is MOTIVATION u pricks. If you can’t afford it cool. What the site does is show some things you can afford but somethings are to motivate you to get your weight up dummies!

    Lame, I own a G55 and check Hypebeast religiously. What exactly is the Hypebeast demographic? Do you really wanna start putting a price tag on cool? Can you? Whether or not one can afford it is besides the point. It’s a pretty awesome car if you ask me.

    i think this is over the line now… is this really why we check hypebeast? this is stupid not to mention way outside the budget of the hypebeast demographic (dont front). wtf is this really… i think hypebeast is totally losing its sense of self. fuck roots… commercialize. they should also start posting when a new macy’s/bloomingdales/nordstroms store opens now. maybe even grand opening hypebeastxnordstrom parties???

    unfortunately, i fear that mercedes reputation for putting looks and luxury above performance undermines the creation of the off-road vehicle that the galandawagen has always aspired to be
