Acronym 2008 Fall/Winter Collection
by Eugene Kan, October 3, 2008

Exemplified by an unparalleled union of technology and aesthetics, the always ground-breaking Acronym’s 08-09 fall/winter collection has been unveiled. The brand which for the most part has embodied a design stance which focuses on unassuming technology produces a collection divided between its marquee outerwear and growing accessories program. Among the highlights include a rarely seen concept as Gore Windstopper is bonded to a leather jacket body to offer the classic styles of a leather jacket with the necessary performance attributes of Gore Windstopper. Furthermore, the Next To Skin concept looks at many complimentary pieces such as scarves, hats, base layers. Rounding out Acronym’s collection is its strong bag program which sees the all new release of the A-7TS backpack. Acronym’s claim to fame on the bag front is its military MOLLE style customization which allows for numerous different sized 3rd Arm pouches and pockets to be attached not only to the bags but the jackets as well. Much of the collection is available now at The-Glade and should hit select Acronym retailers in the coming weeks.
