Oakley x Supreme Sunglasses

Supreme will be working with Oakley to release the classic Frogskins sunglasses. The sunglasses will come in four colors as well as one custom Supreme pattern. They will be available at Supreme stores worldwide coming April. Here’s more information from the folks at Supreme. In 1975, Jim Jannard started Oakley in his garage lab with $300 and the idea of making products that work better and look better than anything else out there. His first success came in the form of a new motorcycle hand grip with a unique tread and rider-friendly shape. Top pros took notice of the product’s “Unobtainium” material that actually increased grip as the rider sweats. Next up for the motocross market was Jannard’s wildly successful O Frame goggle, with its lens curved into a perfect arched cylinder to give riders a clear and wide peripheral view. Many versions of eyewear followed and today, world-class cyclists such as Greg LeMond, Lance Armstrong, and Scott Tinley demand the performance and protection offered by Oakley products. The Oakley Frogskins were first released in 1986 and quickly became a symbol of that decade’s surf and skate culture. Worn by legend Tom Carrol, Frogskins epitomized the surf lifestyle.

It’s about 8 months away, but here’s an upcoming picture of a proposed Guns N’ Roses “November Rain” Dunk Mid SB’s. Set for a November release, and as a tribute to GNR and the song “November Rain”. The insole has a graphic of a girl in a coffin (ala the video for the song), and the entire tongue all the way down to the toebox has a GNR themed graphic. Image: NikeSB.org

New Balance SD574 Sandals

New Balance SD574 Sandals

New Balance fans near and far will certainly have mixed emotions about this new SD574 sandal. It’s not something that new as other companies have produced similar-ish products such as clogposities, Superstar Clog’s etc. However, the impact may remain minimal due to it being a .jp release. Visvim have just released some new products, among them are two new technical Gore-tex jackets, as well as striped crew neck shirts, and knitted beanies. The two Gore-tex jackets feature Paclite 2.5 technology, that makes it 15% lighter then conventional 3-ply Gore-tex material. The jacket pictured on the left, called the Nomad is loosely cut while the other jacket is based off the ever popular M65 military jacket and is tapered to the body. The striped crew neck is available both in long and short sleeve, and has little shoulder strap details. The knitted beanies are available in white, natural, and navy blue. Image: Figure

Futura Laboratories Spring 2007 Releases

Futura Laboratories Spring 2007 Releases

We had a chance to view what Futura Lab’s has got cooked up, and for the FL enthusiast, I don’t think you will walk away disappointed. Included in this collection are many staple items, new raw indigo/black denim could be considered a focal point in the collection. There are many renditions of the “Futura Box Logo” as well that adorn various colors of hoodies. The signature Futura Pointman can seen on the back pocket of the denim, as well as a nylon button-up coach jacket. Conversely, Futura’s double helix logo is seen on a hoody and a zip up nylon coach jacket. Rounding off this collection are mesh trucker hats, and two very interesting items. We posted the FLOM towel a few weeks ago, and now you can match those up with some slippers. As well, the best is left for last in the form of a Luchador mask. Start checking your local FL joints soon! Image: Sweemie & Co. via Basaradan
