Dave and Central Cee Drop Joint EP 'Split Decision'
One of the biggest UK rap collaborations of recent times just got a whole lot bigger.
Following the release of their just-dropped collaborative single “Sprinter,” UK rap leaders Dave and Central Cee have just released a collaborative four-track EP titled Split Decision.
Outside of the UK, the sounds of British rap garner mixed opinions; some say that the tempo is too quick, or that the British accent just doesn’t feel right compared to the sounds of American hip-hop. However, if you’re British and you’re looking to diminish those opinions, you’re almost certainly going to throw London-based rhymers Dave and Central Cee into the mix. The pair have dominated Britain with their solo music over the last few years, and now the duo has linked up to drop one of the most highly-anticipated UK rap collaborations of all time.
The pair was captured in the studio together on social media a few months ago, however, the rumors of a new track between the rappers really started bubbling a couple of few ago when Dave and Cench took to Balamii’s studios in Peckham for a back-to-back freestyle on the Victory Lap show.

Since then, the duo dropped their first collaborative track together, “Sprinter,” and it’s already become the UK’s summer rap track of the year. However, with the record already racking up over eight million views in four days, Santan and Cench have decided to keep the rest of the UK rap scene on the ropes with the release of three extra tracks.
Along with “Sprinter,” the three additional tracks on the Spit Decision EP tap into bouncy rap (“Trojan Horse”) and hard-hitting drill instrumentals (“UK Rap”), while the introspective “Our 25th Birthday” — featuring rising UK soul singer Kamal. — shows a darker side to the pair as they rhyme about their personal lives behind their rap personas.
