New for March, OriginalFake has dropped their latest technical Gore-Tex Paclite jacket. Available in both black and blue, the lightweight jacket includes subtle OF imagery along the zipper, hood and cuffs as well as a hood pull. While a standard Gore-Tex Paclite from a reputable mountaineering company should run you under three bills, the ￥49,800 (approximately $479 USD) price will give you the OF branding. Original Fake (the artist KAWS’ brand if you didn’t know already) has revealed a new graphic of what we assume to be a new t-shirt design. We’re really not sure what the graphic of this tee represents but we’re guessing its tic tac toe with eyeballs. We’re also guessing this t-shirt will be available at the Original Fake store very soon.

Original Fake started a few years ago when artist KAWS teamed up with Medicom Toy to create a brand and flagship store. The designs of the clothes are largely based on KAWS’ popular artwork like these two new t-shirts that have just been released at Original Fake retailers around the world. OriginalFake’s latest design has been revealed. The design features the hand of the Kaws Companion holding a rotten worm filled apple. Watch for the t-shirt to release in the very near future.
In less then a week, those unfortunate enough to be tied up to the ol’ ball and chain are going to have to shell out their hard earned dough to satisfy their companions (lame pun) on Valentines Day. Original Fake has unveiled an upcoming Valentine’s Day print incorporating their Companion mascot. Look for this design to hit t-shirts very soon.
Here is the new Original Fake Chompers Belt which is based on Kaws’ signature “Chompers” pattern. This pattern has been seen on products like Bape sneakers, Bape hoodies and many other cool items. The belts are made by Medicom Toy which is responsible for the Original Fake brand. Two colors are available for the belts which are black and white. Available now at We Sold Out for 155.00 €.

Fan of the artist Kaws will love this one. Original Fake will be soon releasing some socks utilizing Kaws’ signature “X” marks. The socks will come in four colorways and will be avialable at the Original Fake store in Japan as well as Original Fake dealers worldwide.
We have always loved how art or logos can be used in wearable and household products so these socks are quite refreshing from the usual form of t-shirts.

With an attention to detail unparalleled, Japanese brand Nexus VII has released some new items as part of their latest collection of apparel. The pieces include a collaboration with associate brand Original Fake on a cable knit sweater, a doll and a Gore-Tex jacket in white. Available at select Original Fake dealers such as Sold Out.
Well-known Brooklyn artist Kaws and his brand Original Fake looked to fellow artist Mark Dean Veca for a few marquee pieces for Original Fake’s 2008 Spring/Summer collection. Look for these at selected Original Fake account holders now.

Original Fake has released several new items for January. Previously we saw a denim collabo with Nexus VII as well as a sticker set. Now, here are some new t-shirts that have been released at the Original Fake store in Japan. Two new designs are available. The first is the KAWS’ Chum character designed by artist Mark Dean Veca. The second is the Bobble God. These are now available at Original Fake or at places like Anytime.
Nexus VII from Japan has recently opened their new flagship store in Yokohama which is called Flask. Now, here’s another project they have just released which is a collaboration with another label, Original Fake. Together they have created a pair of jeans which features KAWS’ signature cross marks on the back pockets. In addition, there are other minor details such as custom Original Fake buttons and a leather Original Fake patch. They retail for 28,350 Yen and you can get them now at Figure.
