Legendary Nike designer, Tinker Hatfield, responsible for the majority of Michael Jordan’s most popular signature sneakers has succeeded throughout the years not only based on immense talent but an extraordinary imagination as well. The original Jordan V design was inspired by the P-51 Mustang, a WWII fighter plane used by the Tuskegee Airmen combined with a rendering of a Grey Nurse Shark on the midsole.
