Brooklyn-based skateboarding boutique, KCDC, collaborated with Vans and graffiti artist, Neck
Our original preview of the future Neck Face x Vans collection consisted of three models, revolving mostly around a black/rust color combo. However news has surfaced regarding a further compliment to the collection featuring a joint effort between Neck Face and Brooklyn skate shop KCDC on a Tron blue and black joint. The pictures don’t tell much, however an alleged release date for these is slated for June 1st.

Vans and graffiti artist Neck Face have renewed their bond from last year with another collection of footwear and apparel. The artist who has risen to immense popularity for his dark, vivid and surreal imagery. The collection of footwear includes a Chukka, TNT 4, SK8 Low and No Skool Mid while tees, hoodie and New Era cap. No word yet on a release date.

Neck Face and skateboarding are like bread and butter. Ok, maybe that was a bad analogy but the young graf artist has hung out with some of Vans top skaters so it was natural for Vans to ask Neck Face to design some of their shoes. Here is a look at some upcoming Neck Face x Vans sample pictures we were able to get our hands on. Not much information on these yet other than that they will be released this year. New York based artist Neckface opened his “Death Becomes You” exhibition in Melbourne this past January 24th. The show features some amazing framed water colour works, acrylic panels, incredible tin masks, and even some custom Vans Chukkas. Hosted by Schwipe at the Don’t Come gallery, the exhibition will run until February 16th, 2008. If your in town, do yourself a favour and check it out.

Here’s an auction going down featuring allegedly artwork by artist Kaws, Faile and Neck Face. Taking place on a good ol’ 1996 Dodge Ram, the art work is of unknown authenticity, but perhaps a buyer could parade it around and lure streetwear kids in with promises of free t-shirts… modified Bangbus styles. Here’s a look at another rumoured Neck Face x Vans collaboration on the AV SK8 Lo. Previous Neck Face collaborations included a 4-shoe pack which included the SK8 Hi, AV Era, TNT II and DD 66. No word yet on release dates and whether other shoes will accompany this release.

Artist Neck Face recently ran a special "Closed Casket" Halloween exhibition on October 31st. Neck Face rose to prominence quite quickly with his marquee violent pieces. This show represented Neck Face’s largest and most aspiring exhibition yet including a variety of ghoulish and sinister displays of art.
