Right on the heels of the Colette x Married to The Mob x Reebok Freestyle collabo, the Most Official Bitches have dropped hints of what’s to come for their Summer 2008 collection. In addition to the usual tongue in cheek slogan emblazoned across the chest of ladies from Paris to NY, from the classic “My Girls Smoke Mad Marijuana…” to the new “Let’s Talk Shit” slogan (see below), queen bee/designer Leah McSweeney takes her “most official” status a step further with a “Men are the New Women” beach blanket, fashioned after the popular tee. Reebok is no stranger to collaborations. Married to the Mob and French boutique Colette have teamed up to created this awesome Reebok Freestyle sneaker for the ladies. Featuring white uppers with the companies respective logos and a lipstick print these are sure to be a knockout. Every pair comes with a key ring as well as the shoe itself being numbered under the velcro straps.
These will be available at Colette in May and worldwide in the Summer.

In her stint as blog writer for the New York Times’ The Moment, Colette founder Sarah previews an upcoming collaboration with womens brand Married to the Mob on a Reebok Freestyle. Sarah goes on to say that the “lips” motif is quickly becoming popular imagery which is evident with the liberal use of Married to the Mob’s signature lips in full force on these Freestyles. Here’s a further look into Married to the Mob’s most recent collection of apparel. A few days ago saw the unveiling of some of their photo print tees. Their collection includes some of their direct approach to graphics. Available now at Eleven After Eleven and other Married to the Mob accounts.
Female streetwear label Married to the Mob has dropped their latest 2008 Spring collection. A small release from the New York group of most official bitches includes two photo prints, the NY Police tee (featuring MTTM’s very own Leah) and the Birkin tee. Available now at Sold Out.
New York based women’s street label Married to the Mob is working with the French artist Fafi for a collaboration t-shirt. Fafi which has recently worked with the cosmetic brand MAC has designed this tee. The shirt which is available now at Colette will cost 50 Euros.
Married to the Mob teamed up with rapper Uffie and photographer The Cobrasnake to present their latest collection. Originally hooked by MOB affiliate Fafi, Uffie was a picture perfect representation of the MOB attitude. The collaboration features a special collaborative tee with Fafi and MOB. French artist FAFI has established herself in the last few years breaking the gender barrier with her intense graphics and female relevant work. Married to the Mob’s Tab had a chance to hook up with FAFI regarding her roots in Toulouse, her rise to prominence and her most upcoming work with Mac Cosmetics. The whole interview can be seen here.
Ryan Leslie, born on September 25, 1978, is an all American singer, music producer and song writer. He is the founder of the media company NextSelection and he has worked with artists like Beyoncé, Britney Spears, Diddy, Snoop Dogg and Usher. Married to the Mob has teamed up with Ryan to released this Diamond Girl tee which features a graphic dedicated to his recently single “Diamond Girl” The tees come in two colors and are now available at Ryan Leslie’s website.

Married to the Mob weren’t effin’ around with their latest Married to the Mob x Kangol beanie release. They managed to secure a big billboard in Stanton. Three colorways of their beanies, grey, purple and pink are available now through their online store.
Married to the Mob has enjoyed a lot of success since their inception back in ‘04. We hope that the groundwork they’ve laid in the last few years will allow other female dedicated brands to step up and be counted.
