Real Real Genuine’s 2008 Spring collection of denim has hit their online store. Never one to overlook details, each of their three releases are all chalk full of details including coordinating stitching, hologram seals of authenticity and tote bags. Three styles and cuts are each in a class of their own as no cuts or washes overlap. They include a semi-distressed slim cut, vintage wash straight cut and a raw loose cut.
Five years ago, living legend Haze put to work his creativity and design as him and Nike put the touches on a pack of Nike Dunks. The Haze Dunks are latest and greatest to be featured in the Nike Be True Chronicles, an ongoing showcase of the most heralded Nike Dunks throughout it’s existence. The background story goes as follows with Nike enlisting the help of the talented artist on a new spray technique, eventually giving up the reigns of creative control for the ensuing Hyperstrike box. The shoes could be considered among the tipping points of sneaker insanity as the market would soon explode.
The Illuminati symbol “The All-Seeing Eye” can be seen manifested in this recent capsule of Revolver jewelry. The pyramid shape with the use of the eye has long been a symbol of the elite and the root of controversy as the likes of Jay-Z and Kanye West have been throwing it up extensively. The collection of jewelry was designed by Ed Banger’s art director So Me and is available now through Pick Up.
Recently celebrating their 10th anniversary, Japan’s hip-hop inspired MACKDADDY has put forth a new collection of goods for their 2008 Spring collection. As always, MACKDADDY ventures down a much more colorful route with their apparel which can also be seen in their Spike Logo Head jewelry. The collection is available now through eproze.
Not so much known for his prowess with the lumber, Jordan Brand has still gone down that route to pay tribute to Michael Jordan’s time spent in between the ball court on the baseball diamond. The Quickstrike “Opening Day” package includes two styles of the Air Jordan 1 with pinstripe and baseball detailing, each priced at $105 USD respectively. There is also talk of a #45 Chicago White Sox t-shirt as well that will release alongside the sneakers.
