Summer has officially started in Seattle, so Maiden Noir thought it was appropriate to coincide
Seattle based label Maiden Noir debuts their Spring 08 collection, expanding their on theme of “the son of the seventh” in exploring the turbulent time of 1968. The focus is on the detailing, tailoring and materials paying tribute to a heritage of vintage silhouettes and a more refined, classic look. For Spring, some highlights consist of light cotton twill jackets, military inspired shorts and cotton twill denim available a variety of cuts. The colors are in tones of grey to black with accents of color in plaids. The collection will be available this weekend at a handful of select shops around the world including Union, Goods, HUF, Haven, Commonwealth, Bodega, and WoodWood. You may have heard of the footwear label Cause from their projects with Stussy or recently, CLS. This rising footwear brand from Japan has just teamed up with Seattle based label, Maiden Noir, for an upcoming collabo sneaker. Maiden Noir as you know is known for their darker themed clothes so this sneaker has naturally been designed in the same manner. Only a selected few Maiden Noir retailers will be getting these in at the end of the month. They will be retailing for $175.

San Francisco’s Huf are set to release another extensive drop this Saturday. Part 2 (Part 1) of their 2007 Fall/Winter Collection includes hoodies, crewnecks, hats and jackets. Among the jackets are a co-branded release with Maiden Noir. With an obvious emphasis on the Maiden Noir x Huf jacket, it doesn’t disappoint with some quality characteristics such as the plaid lining, and subdued logos. Everything will be available Saturday, December 15th.
