On the heels of a very successful launch last year, Gourment’s 2008 spring collection releases today at accounts across the country. This drop will see two styles release in a multitude of colors with inspirations drawn from the Air Jordan XII and the Air Jordan XIII respectively. A leading list of retailers carrying Gourmet include Undefeated, Commonwealth, HUF, Dave’s Quality Meat, Conveyor, Achilles, Leaders and Shoe Gallery.
Thanks to the French blog Guillotine, we get to take a look at some of the upcoming products from Gourmet’s Fall/Winter collection. In these pictures, we get a look at some Houndstooth pattern sweater and jackets. The clothes are nice but nothing exciting. However, one picture reveals some upcoming sneakers from the brand. Gourmet’s sneakers have been popular since the beginning due to the fact that the silhouette’s of their sneakers resemble the Air Jordans but in a much more refined way. Within their short existence, Gourmet has made a remarkable impression on the scene. Although their collection of footwear has for once made the notion of Jordan-inspired footwear palatable to the masses rather then be drowned out with shouts of fake and bootlegs, their collection goes much deeper than footwear. Gourmet has recently been getting some serious press lately due to its shoes that look a lot like some Air Jordans. They have released a picture on their blog of some samples from their collection that will be coming out next year. Inspired by Jordans, these new shoes will come in several different colorways. Look out for these flashy sneakers to drop in the Summer of 2008.
