Hiroshi Fujiwara, the godfather of streetwear, has just recently visited the Nike Campus in Beaverton, Oregon, for the Nike Beijing 08 Innovation Summit. The event showcased upcoming releases including the much anticipated Hyperdunks. While there, it seems that HF had a lot of fun touring the campus and rock climbing, an activity that probably only Nike has at their headquarters. But of course he wouldn’t go without meeting with Nike President and CEO, Mark Parker, discussing unrevealed shoes. It seems that HF was also able to do an interview with Nike’s Global Creative Director, Richard Clarke. Check out all the pictures and the interview at Honeyee.

With the opening date, April 25th, getting closer and closer, it looks like Bape Store LA is making some progress. Here we show you some teaser pictures of the upcoming store. It seems that the store will be similar in style to the many other Bape stores around the world including their signature Bape camo print in neon lights, the big “Go Ape” sign in the front, and a wall covered with the blue camouflage print. You can also see the conveyor belt around the curved glass wall that usually carries their shoes. This store will definitely be another great addition to the Melrose shopping scene.

It’s been a busy week for the whole crew at CLOT with last night marked by the grand re-opening of their newly renovated retail front Juice. As referenced by an earlier interview with CLOT co-owner Kevin Poon, the new shop is an updated reflection of the direction CLOT has taken with a more minimalistic and refined approach. For those who have had the chance to view the pre-renovation CLOT, a drastic change sees the removal of the wooden concept into a clean cut white approach. The store is open as of Saturday, April 19th.

OriginalFake is a brand that truly devotes itself to every little detail, as shown here by their Winter exhibition invite. Beinghunted shows us his invitation, which is a printed one dollar bill with design hand-drawn by Kaws. The design portrays Kaws Companion falling into the hole of the portrait while trying hard to grab on. It is speculated that the dollar bill design might be a hint of what’s to come for OriginalFake’s 08 F/W collection. You can definitely see how strong the brand is even just through their invitation.
