The Rugged Museum has updated with some new merchandise on their site. We also came across some dope picturesof their location, transporting you back in time to a place where everything was made of raw materials like iron and wood. Their inspiration again is the glory years of the 40’s and 50’s. Like in the case of Red Wing, we see models that have stood the test of time, and we can learn about other garments with humble military beginnings. It’s not all about MA-1s and M-65s here, we see a lot of Navy wear, Gentleman’s hunting pieces, and a lot of reference to Steve McQueen, a true OG. Steve can be seen wearing a variant of the MA-1 in “The Great Escape” and his cut-off raglan sweats. The boundaries between fashion and collector’s items have been rubbed out, and we take for granted the quality and style of pre-hiphop America. Check out pics of the the revival of the good old days after the jump.
Swagger designers “Big-O” and Ignition Man have released their latest line for spring/summer 2008. Their hard work has paid off with lots of original items with highlights including a great gold double finger ring, eroded denim with light paint splatters and cool grey MA-1 variant. A full look can be seen in an interview/collection showcase over at Deep Inside.
The retailer for the Japan exclusive denim line, Levi’s Fenom, has released pictures of the new Levi’s Fenom Printed Green Stitch Rigid Denim. The jeans feature a selvedge lined back pocket as well as the fragment design logo stitched onto the other pocket (fragment design is Hiroshi Fujiwara’s design firm which is responsible for the Fenom line). Three models are available including the 360, 505, and the 207. Available at Tab Device for 26,250 Yen.
A quick look at any of ONETrue Saxon’s products and you’ll see that strong attention to detail and quality is always entered into their design equation. From their clean apparel to their helpful International Essentials Travel Guide, the brand has a strong commitment ensuring everything fits into place and stands as a helpful addition to their range of products. The Engineered denim is highlighted by numerous little characteristics which all tie in nicely to create a great pair of denim. The 13 oz Japanese selvedge includes a printed slogan “Handcrafted for his pleasure: OTS Denim Never Defeated”. The articulated engineer fit includes black anodized studs and rivets, twin corduroy back pockets and inner ankle reinforcements. An added bonus includes a chambray dust bag straight from OTS headquarters.

On the other hand we see the return of Caliroots’ OG model, this time recreated with a new clear resin which was applied prior to the construction of the jeans. Both the OG and the Leather Lux are available in raw indigo and raw black colors. Available for sale starting at 12:00 pm Stockholm time (UTC/GMT +1 hour).
