The recent exhibition Under the Influence: A Tribute to Stan Lee and the crowd it drew symbolized the effect Stan Lee has had on popular culture. It seems at one time or another, somebody has been subjected to the creations of the storied illustrator. The whole collection of paintings and artwork created by various artists under inspiration from Marvel’s catalog of heroes was made available by the host venue Gallery 1988. The collection in it’s entirety can be seen here and is worth a look if you didn’t have a chance to check the event out.

A further look into Under the Influence: A Tribute to Stan Lee’s exhibition has been revealed. The show which opens on January 8th features a triple digit cast of contributing artists each offer their own interpretation on various works Stan Lee has produced over the years. Seen here are Greg ‘Craola’ Simkins, Ekundayo, Johnny "KMNDZ" Rodriguez, and Yoskay Yamamoto. Check the show out from 8:00 pm – 11:00 pm at Gallery 1988.
