Lacoste has been continually celebrating its 75th anniversary with cool concepts and exclusive shoes, and now here comes another one. The Stealth Pack includes 5 different styles from the Lacoste family – Dot, Ardeur, Cabestan, Missouri, and Tennis 91. All the shoes come in black and white, and feature embossed original 1933 croc branding that’s exclusive to this pack. Hitting Lacoste retailers in July.
Lacoste’s premium Stealth collection looks to carry its well deserved momentum acquired over the last few seasons into the 2008 fall/winter collection with a series of Missouris seen here. The cross-trainer style sneaker looks to some interesting twists such as reptile leather and well balanced colorways to highlight the collection.

Lacoste’s select collection of footwear Stealth features some of the fabled French tennis brands most cherished classics under a new contemporary design style. Here’s a look into their 2008 June releases including the Revan 2 P-Line, Revan 2 M-Dlux, Missouri, Missouri Punch and Revan 3 Croc-R. As part of the recent pack of collaborative sneakers designed by the UK’s Size? for Lacoste, comes the Observe. This style follows up on the initial release featuring the Revan 3. Taking a less chunky approach to its shape, the Observe 2 is a tad slimmer then its counterpart the Revan 3. However, much like the previous Revan 3 designed by Size?, the Observe 2 also features a leather upper with large perforations which reveal a poppy highlight color. One of New York’s leading sneaker institutions, Rivington Club has had the benefit of numerous collaborations with various storied athletic brands. In their most recent team-up with Lacoste, ARC brings forth another dimension of the brands identity with a strong choice of colors and recognizable graphics. The well-traveled Lacoste polo and 1980s tennis classic Ardeur became a template for ARC to instill their brand aesthetics. The goal of designing each piece was to stay in line with sporting apparel which features many visual cues necessary on the field. The polos itself are beefed up similar to rugby shirts and feature 158, an homage to the store’s address at 158 Rivington St. in New York as well as the legendary Lacoste crocodile logo. This capsule is slated for a July release at fine retailers including Rivington Club in NYC, Barney’s NYC, Colette, Dover Street Market and Dieci Corso Como.
The Lacoste 75th anniversary has brought forth an interesting concept from the brand. The brand offers a futuristic look into the world of tennis, 75 years from now which utilizes an array of fictional gadgets and technologies. Lacoste also questions how founder Rene Lacoste would fair in the present day with new age equipment against the likes of Roger Federer and vice versa. The website can be seen at lacoste-future.com.
In anticipation of Lacoste’s 75th anniversary, look for the French brand with roots in tennis to release various collaborative products. Among the upcoming releases is a pairing with Solebox on the Tennis 91 model. Preliminary looks have revealed a black terry cloth upper with reflective 3M trim on the tongue. No word yet on a release date, but stay tuned for more info from the Solebox camp.

To celebrate the 75th Anniversary of Lacoste, Lacoste will be reinventing one of their classic sneaker models by releasing a series of monotone colored sneakers. The monotone color seems to be a hit this year as Nike recently also did a pack of monotone Air Force 1’s. Six colors will be available for this sneaker each retailing at $590 HKD.

Each style is clean and modern, highlighted by the perforated leather revealing contrasting colors along the side. Three colorways are available now, black/blue, white/green and white/purple. The English sneaker boutique, Size?, and fashion brand Lacoste have teamed up to create this new exclusive pack that includes the Revan 3 and Observe models. Both styles reveal a neon colorway underneath the perforated leather. The Size? x Lacoste Observe is available in black/electric blue as well as white/neon green while the Revan 3 model is available in grey/purple. These dope shoes will be hitting selected stores in limited quantities very soon. Fifteen years later, Junya Watanabe would earn worldwide success with his innovative styling and technical prowess.
