This year, we saw a series of collaboration items between Sanrio’s cute cat, Hello Kitty and Japanese sneaker boutique and brand, Atmos. For the end of 2007, they have once again teamed up with Porter to release a collection of bags and wallets. If you or your female friend is a fan of Hello Kitty, this might be a nice year end gift.

Back before the days of 3D games, you had to look no further then awesome 2D games like Pac-man and Space Invaders. Taito, the Japanese folks behind Space Invaders will welcome the 30th Anniversary of this influential game with a set of Porter bags, nothing says 30th Anniversary like all-over print bags of 8-bit characters. The all-over print is applied over bags, wallets and pouches.

Bagjack is well known in Europe and Japan for their utility bags, with construction and functionality second to none. Having originally collaborated in 2005, Beinghunted have re-issued their first style of the Beinghunted x Bagjack messenger bag as a holiday special. The new I-B model is a bigger version of the first design (holds 1 shoe box plus extra) and features enhanced construction, with a red waterproof zipper on the outer pocket. Available now through The-Glade with a price tag of 188 EUR (approximately $235 USD).
Japanese brand Untold has revealed an extensive look into their 2008 Spring Collection. Unveiling what we gather is the whole line, the vast collection goes everywhere from slick button-up and apparel to a strong collection of accessories and Porter bags. The whole collection can be seen here.
Babekub City loves to give the ‘beasts’ what they want. Previously releasing their Nike SB Dunk Low in an entirely 3M upper, this latest release (albeit it a few years late) includes a Porter collaboration with a 3M wallet and waist bag. Backpack makers Eastpak have put their collabos into overdrive recently releasing a series of bags with European bands Kaiser Chefs,
Original Fake, the brand by the artist KAWS, has done a series of bags with hip Japanese luggage maker Head Porter. There are four styles included in this collection which include a boston bag, a wait bag, a tote bag and a wallet. All pieces feature KAWS’ signature cross marks.

In association with the latest installment of the Batman series, Dark Knight, backpack makers Eastpak teamed up with Japanese store Kinetics to produce a Batman backpack. The bag captures Batman’s well-known symbol in all-over print fashion. The bag will be available December 22nd through Chapter World.
Although claiming it’s roots in Sacramento, music store Tower Records developed a huge chain of stores in Japan which ultimately extended into a free magazine publication and a series of cafes. Design firm G1950 teamed up with Tower Records on a limited edition Porter tote bag. Two styles with different straps are available through Tower Records.

Just a few days ago, we heard news of iconic denim brand Levi’s teaming up with Jordan Brand on 23/501 Collection which was rumored to include a denim Air Jordan I. Levi’s have also utilized their denim background to create a series of bags and wallets with Japanese bag makers Porter. Some of Porter’s classic wallet styles are decked with washed denim. Also pictured is a College Ring as well. These will be available at select Levi’s Stores in Japan.
