Description

Kevin Poon is a Hong Kong-born entrepreneur, fashion designer and blogger. He moved around a bit as a child, living in Chicago and Vancouver before returning to study at Hong Kong International School until the age of 18. He attended Pepperdine University and graduated with a finance degree before once again returning to Hong Kong to focus on his own business ventures. Founding multiple businesses alongside Edison Chen, the two established CLOT Inc., a lifestyle brand aimed to bridge Eastern and Western culture, and JUICE, one of Asia’s premier retailers for streetwear, sneakers and accessories. Paying close attention to Hong Kong’s increasing demand for international lifestyle products, Poon founded District, a distribution company that distributes brands like Native Shoes, Herschel Supply Co., and Happy Socks throughout HK, China and Southeast Asia. Partnering with Fed Tan, the two founded a public relations agency in 2012 called Social/Capital, and has a long list of clients the likes of Balmain, adidas, Tom Ford, and Nike. With previous experience in retail, Poon founded a concept store called WOAW! (World of Amazing Wonders), which sells unique gadgets and accessories. His latest HK business ventures includes a premier fitness space called TOPFIT, and Elephant Grounds, a coffeehouse with 3 locations.
