Hedi Slimane is a French fashion designer and photographer, who is currently the named artistic, creative and image director of CÉLINE. Previously, Pierre Bergé appointed Slimane to head the men’s ready-to-wear collections at Yves Saint Laurent, which was rebranded as Saint Laurent, where Slimane later became creative director. He also declined an offer of creative directorship at Jil Sander, while accepting the position of creative director at Dior Homme, Christian Dior’s menswear label.
