LeBron James is an American professional basketball player who currently plays for the Cleveland Cavaliers. James went to St. Vincent – St. Mary High School in Akron, Ohio where he played high school basketball and was already promoted in the national media as a future NBA superstar. After graduating in 2003, James was picked up by the Cleveland Cavaliers. In 2007, he led the Cavaliers to their first appearance in the NBA playoff finals where they lost to the San Antonio Spurs. In 2010, James left the Cavaliers in for Miami Heat, where he went on to win two consecutive NBA titles in 2012 and 2013. James decided to opt out of his contract in 2014 with Miami Heat and rejoin the Cavaliers. James has numerous endorsement deals with companies such as Audemars Piguet,, Samsung, and Coca-Cola and continues to play an important role within the NBA as he is considered by many to be the “face of the NBA”. James has lent his name to Nike for a signature line of basketball sneakers which has spawned several bestselling models.
