In memory of the short-lived Wreck Center initiated by A-ron (formerly of aNYthing and Supreme), a photo print t-shirt was created on A-ron’s latest fashion venture Off Bowery. For those unfamiliar, the Wreck Center represented a coming together of all facets of culture, including music, skating and art among other things. No word yet on availability.

With popular models like Cesario Lo, Rocco and revisited, an inherent focus on new and premium reptile influenced materials can be seen. A further series of products have released as part of N. Hoolywood’s retrospective collection “After Sputnik”. The overall theme of the spring/summer collection is the previous look into back and forth battle for space supremacy. These most recent t-shirts are all related to various space events including sequence shots of rocket launches and a symbolic shot of a chimpanzee, who were among the first astronauts used by NASA.

The “Gag Me With A Toon” art show kicked off Saturday April 5th with an opening reception at the Melt Gallery off of Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood. This show is an amazing collection of artwork featuring iconic cartoon characters from the 80’s. The show was curated by Steven Daily who assembled works from such artists as Craola, Jeff McMillan, Kyle Ng, Jon Schnepp, Jim Mahfood, Mike Kelley, Steven Daily and many more. Cartoon legends from The Smurfs, The Transformers, G.I. Joe, The Snorkels, Disney’s Snow White, and others are all represented in a whole new light. The show runs through April 27th. Here’s a look at a handful of releases that dropped this past Sunday at Bape Hong Kong.
