Hong Kong brand SiLLY THING is in the midst of a revamping, with news that the brand will undertake a new direction for their upcoming releases. Among the first hints at a direction change, as simple as it may be is the installation of a new sign for the brand and the font chosen. Stay tuned for big things out of SiLLY THING upcoming.

Although graphics and winter sports have largely been reserved for snowboard culture, mountain company Rossignol has applied the popular past time of integrating art and functionality with their latest Seven Artistic Sins Collection (SAS). Enlisting the help from an all-star cast of artists, veterans such as skater Andy Howell, Steve Caballero (Vans Cab), Caia Koopman, Mr. Jago, Andrew Pommier, Will Barras and Squindo are all in participation for the SAS collection. Between the artists, countless skate decks, snowboards, surf boards and album covers have come under their influence. Keeping in line with the theme of sins, each of the artist created designs based on pride, envy, lust, anger, greed, sloth and gluttony.
The skis will debut at the SIA Tradeshow which starts up today and runs until February 1st with a special running going up on Evogear.
As the Spring collection previews get rolled out, Japanese brand Deluxe has unveiled their products as we progress into the cold winter months. Releases include Deluxe x Koki eyewear, Roadrunner jacket, Burning belt, Whip Light beanie, Freedom button-up, Project thermal and Weezer sweater. The Air Force 1 Fusion integrating the classic Uptown and the Air Jordan has started hitting shelves with a constant stream of upcoming releases. Here’s a look at a projected Black/Bright Cactus colorway. The Bright Cactus can be seen throughout with an embroidered 23, colored mesh and strap. No word yet on availability.

Retailer Chocolate Crocodile and Rogue Status hooked up on a t-shirt. The black/gold tee includes the Chocolate Crocodile logo on the front with a cursive RS logo that wraps around the side. Available now at Chocolate Crocodile for $30 USD.
In a recent Air Force 1 Silver Service display at London’s Dover Street Market, the design collective, the Wilson Brothers created a handmade fixed gear bike to celebrate the AF1. How the two are related, I’m not sure, however a short documentary will also be featured documenting the construction of the bicycle with an ad campaign to follow.

Selected pieces from Vancouver based label Wings + Horns is anticipated to start hitting retailers in the upcoming weeks. Among the releases are an all-black high-top zipper sneaker. The contemporary styled sneaker utilizes the same leather seen on products from Gucci. Set to hit Roden Gray in two weeks.
New York based artist Neckface opened his “Death Becomes You” exhibition in Melbourne this past January 24th. The show features some amazing framed water colour works, acrylic panels, incredible tin masks, and even some custom Vans Chukkas. Hosted by Schwipe at the Don’t Come gallery, the exhibition will run until February 16th, 2008. If your in town, do yourself a favour and check it out.
