NIGO and his Americana label HUMAN MADE created strides in fashion with collaborative achievements in 2018: Converse Japan, STUDIO SEVEN, George Cox and lifestyle vaping brand IQOS were just the tip of the iceberg. In late 2018, the Japanese veteran designer partnered with non other than American fast food staple Kentucky Fried Chicken for the KFC x HUMAN MADE collection. The range, which included jackets, tees, hoodies, bags and even a sculptural chicken bucket, gave fans of the designer and brand a glimpse onto a not-so-well-known facet of NIGO’s personal passion — The Colonel’s original recipe chicken. Besides products, the entrepreneur also revealed a new location to his Curry Up restaurant in Nakameguro, while also unveiling a new HUMAN MADE flagship nearby, aptly named “OFFLINE STORE.”
