2015 was a good year for Tomoaki Nagao, aka NIGO. With his brand Human Made having strong seasonal collections and collaborations with the likes of Honest Boy, Coca-Cola and HYPEBEAST, the 45-year-old fashion legend remains at the helm of Uniqlo’s UT brand as its creative director, while acquiring the same position also for China’s YOHO! media outlet. 2015 also saw a collaborative effort with adidas Originals that was looked upon as a huge success, while his business ventures Curry Up! and Cafe 2-5 are both regarded as one of the finest establishments in Tokyo for their delectable menu and attention of detail. Lastly, known as one of the biggest collectors of Star Wars memorabilia, he has thus decided to auction off his collection, with hundreds of lots that are expected to amass in the millions, and singular items expected to fetch five and even six-figure costs.
