American singer and producer Pharrell Williams had a busy year, appearing in advertising campaigns for the World Cup, Spotify, and announcing a Chanel Collaboration. He released a bevy of colorways for the adidas Originals Hu NMD, and also launched the adidas BYW silhouette. Along with that, Williams helped pushed the revamp of Billionaire Boys Club through collaborative projects with A Tribe Called Quest, as well as Italia Independent. Williams released much new music, working alongside Camila Cabello, Janelle Monae, Mike WiLL Made-It, Migos and Rae Sremmurd. Rejoining his former N.E.R.D. cohorts, the group performed at the 2018 NBA All-Star game, as well as the *Ellen DeGeneres Show*.
