Only last week, Microsoft’s chief executive Steve Ballmer prophesied the death of print media within the next 10 years as everything goes to an online format. With him having made such a bold statement, we can’t help but feel that despite our current profession in the movement Ballmer feels will take over, the physicality of print media stands little chance of truly dying. Media such as this upcoming newspaper created as part of the much anticipated Stussy x Neighborhood Boneyards collection is something we feel regardless of the times will still hold its weight in certain circumstances. At the end of the day, the tangible aspect and the tactile feel of thumbing through the pages is something irreplaceable and commands respect. Although little is known regarding the background of this newspaper, we expect to see a range of interview with the creative minds behind this memorable collection.

In the most comprehensive look to date, visuals into the Nike Blazer designed exclusively for the upcoming Stussy x Neighborhood Boneyards Collection have been revealed. For the Blazer, its beginnings as a basketball performance model to its adoption by the skate community, a special aesthetic transformation was needed for it to fully capture the essence of the Boneyards Collection theme. With highlight colors reminiscent of the original Air Jordan I with red, blue and white, these colors revolve around a central dark theme of black. The Stussy x Neighborhood x Nike Boneyards Collection Blazer will hit a handful of Nike Tier 0 accounts and Stussy Chapter Stores on Saturday, June 21st.

Rats, Japanese clothing brand designed by Tetsu Nishiyama of WTAPS, is collaborating with the people from Neighborhood to design some pieces that will be released in August. The release includes various logo-based tees, long sleeves, jacket, and paint-splattered pants. All the pieces come in quiet, complimentary colors, which fits Neighborhood’s usual style. Definitely an interesting collaboration that is for sure to produce some solid pieces.
