Maharishi from the UK which is headed by Hardy Blechman has been around for quite a while. Here are some new items from Maharishi and its sub label MHI. The camera around the neck t-shirt has been done many times but here is Maharishi’s take on it. New items also include a Maharishi Rat tee and a MHI Ray Ban zip up hoodie. Although Michael Lau’s annual CSBOOTH 14 exhibition ended a few weeks ago, Lau has continued his relationship with Maharishi to create some new colorways of some of the products originally released at CSBOOTH 14. Pictured here are the DJ Panda and Off World Creature versions. A release date is yet to be set.

Sharing a common agenda of creating high quality and sophisticated pieces for the market, it was only a matter of time before Mosley Tribes and Hardy Blechman’s maharishi teamed up for this limited edition sunglass release. Aside from the clothing and art exploits of maharishi, Hardy Blechman worked extensively on DPM, a book outlining the history and styles of camouflage over the years and the evolution of its uses into civilian society. Mosley Tribes emerged from the shadows of Oliver Peoples to create a new brand with different inspirations. This collaborative eyewear set takes into account maharishi’s refined nature incorporating intricate detailing. Three separate exchangeable lenses are available, Shooter Yellow, Silver Mirror and Grey Gradient. Available this Friday at maharishi, Barney’s Co-op and other fine retailers.
British label Maharishi has just released three new models as part of their 2007 Fall/Winter Footwear Collection. Keeping things functional for the rigors and unpredictable nature of everyday travel, each of the models include wax cotton uppers for a sense of comfort and water repellency. The Asym Day Shoe and Hi Top Day Shoe both offer classic reinspired shapes while Double Deckers include a boat shoe-esque upper. Available now through Maharishi.
One time HYPEBEAST blogger, Hip-hop artist Lupe Fiasco has joined forces with jacket customizer Dr. Romanelli, artist Nathan Cabrera and British label Maharishi on an upcoming project. No word yet on what this collaboration entails but it should tie in with the December 18th release of Lupe Fiasco’s album, “The Cool”. Stay tuned for more details as they become available.
