In a relationship that has spanned many marquee products, this most recent Hide collection from the ongoing Beams x Porter partnership is a testament to a collections strengths and maturity as a co-branded project. The all leather Hide offerings are specially treated for water repellency as well as including little details such as a laptop compartment. Three styles include a Ruck Sack, Day Pack and Active Carry Case and are available now at select dealers.
A new contemporary addition to the Porter family will release in the near future. The Sonic collection are each created with rip-resistant and waterproof tarp materials and treated with a stone wash. Four styles for the time being include waist bags, ruck sacks and shoulder bags. Available soon at select Porter dealers and Zozo.
From the land of infinite collabo’s, here are shots of a USC x Porter Large Logo backpack. This collaboration is with Uno Caol Showten which is the Japanese MMA fighter, Uno Caol’s brand. Following up closely with the new website re-launch of NexusVII, the Japanese brand has produced a two bag collection with Porter. The bags include a large over-sized Mailman bag and a packable Eco Bag. Both bags include trademark Nexus VII imagery to compliment the less often seen Porter styles.

Tower Records Japan has followed up last years successful Porter x G1950 collaboration with a second tote bag release. Artist Yayoi Kusama’s trademark use of polka dots can be seen applied to this recent multi-brand project between XLarge, X-girl and Porter. Interestingly enough, much of Kusama’s inspirations and polka dot designs are derived from a series of hallucinations she experienced as a child which was spawned by physical abuse from her mother. The Japanese design firm, G1950, which creates an assortment of goods including household goods as well as clothing has teamed up with luggage maker, Porter, to produce this G1950 x Porter Coin Case. If you’re looking for just a simple case to hold all your coins, then this might suit you. Comes in black and white and is available at Figure for 3000 Yen.
The Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama was born on March 29, 1929. “Her work shows some attributes of feminism, minimalism, surrealism, Art Brut, pop art, and abstract expressionism, and is infused with autobiographical, psychological, and sexual content.” (Wikipedia) To commemorate the documentary film “≒ Yayoi Kusama: I love”, XLarge and X-girl has collaborated with Porter to create a set of Yayoi Kusama bags. There are two styles available, a messenger bag for the guys and a tote bag for the girls. These bags will be released on March 8th.

The Japanese design company G1950 has teamed up with Porter to release a Shoulder Pad. What’s cool about this shoulder pad is that the padding is made using Tempur material which is material certified by NASA themselves.
