côte&ciel Launches Transformative Bags and Accessories for FW26
From the expanding ELVO backpacks, hooded RENO bag-vests to the origami-twisted PO S slings and more.
The côte&ciel Fall/Winter 2026 Collection explores fashion as an active verb – an act of making, shaping, and constructing – rather than a static statement of style.
Led by designer Emilie Arnault, the seasonal concept takes inspiration from Charles Fréger’s photographic study Wilder Mann, which observes European folk festival costumes blending human and animal forms. This ritualistic connection to nature translates into an earthy, tactile palette that features wool-like Tweed Anthracite, home upholstery-inspired Black & Cream Tweed, lightweight Smooth Burgundy Nylon and technical Carbon Black textiles. To emphasize the craftsmanship behind the designs, the brand paired its industrial lookbook with handcrafted artistic works by Paris-based creative Aurélie Mathigot.
Rooted in the philosophy of “the same song, but different instruments,” the seasonal range evolves côte&ciel’s iconic silhouettes through fluid, body-responsive forms that bridge the gap between bags and wearable garments. Key styles in the range include the ELVO backpack in Carbon Black, which expands and compresses to fit tech devices up to 16 inches, and the RENO shoulder bag, which unfolds into a wearable vest complete with an integrated Smooth Black hood.
Furthering the origami-like construction, the compact PO S twists water-repellent nylon to transition seamlessly between a sling and a vest. The collection is completed by small accessories (“Petits Accessories”), including the AÓOS NANO pouch, eyewear cases, and modular leather charm cords like the LETGO series. The collection is available now globally through côte&ciel and will also be stocked by HBX starting September 2, 2025.
