Palace Skateboards has officially announced its third retail location in South Korea, Palace Seoul Lotte World Mall, opening alongside an exclusive commemorative apparel collection. Situated inside Lotte World Mall near the 555-metre Lotte World Tower in Jamsil, the 142.57-square-metre space merges the London skate label’s retail identity with traditional local architecture.
Continuing a design narrative that previously referenced royal Korean palaces, Moon Jars, and London’s brutalist Southbank skate scene, the new flagship turns to Seoul’s historic Jongmyo Shrine for visual inspiration. The store’s linear layout echoes the shrine’s horizontal continuity, framed by round concrete columns with corduroy-fluted finishes, stained teak paneling, mirrored walls, and camouflage marble. Decorative installations include a faceted mirror-glass skateboard deck display, an infinity mirrored 3D LED tri-ferg, a freestanding LED video wall, UK DPM camouflage carpeting, and Palace’s signature oversized bulldog sculpture.
To celebrate the grand opening, Palace is releasing a store-exclusive collection of limited-edition apparel and accessories. The release features technical shell jackets, shorts, hoodies, and T-shirts finished with Olympic-inspired graphics that pay homage to nearby Seoul Olympic Park in Songpa District. Additional graphic details integrate Lotty and Lorry, the official raccoon mascots of Lotte World Adventure.
The Palace Skateboards Seoul Lotte World Mall store and its exclusive launch capsule officially open on Saturday, August 22, 2026.
