Brain Dead and Star Wars are joining forces to celebrate a galaxy far, far away with the brand-new Brain Dead x Star Wars capsule collection. Arrived earlier this week, the Los Angeles-based label has tapped into the iconic sci-fi franchise’s expanded universe to deliver a concise but heavy-hitting lineup of apparel and accessories. Direct and factual, the release is timed perfectly alongside a free triple-feature screening of the original trilogy at Brain Dead Studios LA.
Stepping away from standard movie poster graphics, the Brain Dead x Star Wars collection digs deep into the franchise’s legendary comic book history. The capsule is anchored by a standout short-sleeve rayon button-up shirt covered in original artwork by Drew Struzan from the Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire series.
For the classic graphic t-shirts, Brain Dead utilizes the Star Wars: Dark Empire comic book series, highlighting distinct artwork by Dave Dorman. The tees focus on specific moments and characters from the comics, offering a white Dark Empire Leia graphic and a black Dark Empire Bacta Tank design. To round out the collaborative delivery, the brand is offering practical accessories adorned with the Shadows of the Empire artwork, including a versatile tote bag and a thematic playmat.
The Brain Dead x Star Wars collection is now available online and in-store.
