Lacoste brought the spirit of tennis to Paris Fashion Week on Sunday morning with a collection engineered to withstand the toughest on-court conditions. Creative director Pelagia Kolotouros drew inspiration from René Lacoste’s rain-soaked 1923 match in Deauville, where drenched clay courts and covered stands reshaped the game’s atmosphere.

For Fall/Winter 2026, the house welcomed guests back to Stade Roland Garros, where a thin veil of fog hovered above the clay courts draped in protective orange covers. Stars including Aubrey Plaza, Kieran Culkin, and Caleb McLaughlin were in attendance to witness a game-winning performance by Kolotouros. The show opened with a standout collaboration with Mackintosh, featuring oversized, dual-layer trench coats in soft tan tones built for unpredictable weather.

From there, the “Lacoste Tennis Club” hit the runway in bold crimson tracksuits, followed by laser-cut leather menswear, tennis-branded tailoring, and graphic tournament-inspired pieces. Elongated polo shirts arrived drenched in pink and green stripes, while cable-knit sweaters were cropped and shrunken to exaggerate proportions.

In the final stretch, translucent plastic layers took over the runway, designed for washed-out protection against the elements. Printed with playful phrases like “Lawn Tennis” and “Slam Open,” the pieces delivered a sporty twist on classic tournament language.
