Zamna Sends Waves Across Tulum With Biggest Festival Season Yet
Bringing in 120,000 partygoers over its 12-day programming.
Culture and hospitality group Zamna has just wrapped up its 2026 festival season in Tulum, Mexico. Welcoming back electronic music heavyweights David Guetta and Keinemusik as well as introducing new names to its roster, including Black Coffee and Rüfüs Du Sol, the 12-day program turned out to be the group’s biggest – and perhaps boldest – event series to date.
Having spent the last few years laying down its roots in the 11 hectare jungle, the latest edition saw Zamna pay homage to the surrounding Mayan backdrop with its high-octane event production. On the first night, partygoers closed the year out in an exotic-themed set featuring headliner and Afterlife founder MRAK, while later in the schedule, Mayan Warrior – a platform composed of Mexican artists – took their place in front of tribal-inspired architecture, blending deep sounds and glowing lights.
Through tailoring each of the 10 events around Tulum’s heritage, the festival went on to attract 120,000 guests looking to experience its ethos “where music meets paradise.” The effects of the event were also seen across the vicinity of the coastal town as local bars, restaurants and clubs were reportedly booked out during the two weeks, while hotel occupancy skyrocketed up to 90%.
Keeping the momentum going, the music group now reveals a new tourism trust called “Tulum All Year Round.” Building on its efforts in attracting over 100 nationalities to its events, the initiative will feature a 12-month calendar that incorporates cultural experiences for locals and visitors across the historic destination. Programming is expected to include art exhibitions, wellness retreats, food pop-ups, luxury travel excursions as well as more music events and festivals.
In an official statement, the founding team at Zamna shared, “Tulum is ready to write a new tourism narrative—one that is more inclusive, cultural, and sustainable. This trust is not just a financial structure; it’s an invitation to collectively imagine the future of the destination.”
