Two distinct pillars of Japanese craftsmanship are coming together in a single garment. LOOPWHEELER has partnered with KUON and the artisan collective SASHIKO GALS to release a sweatshirt that blends world-renowned loopwheel knitting with sashiko, a hand-stitching tradition spanning over four centuries. The brands describe the result as a “new tradition” designed to bridge the past, present, and future.
The base model for this release is LOOPWHEELER’s LW360 crewneck, which is crafted from their signature LW Light Loopwheel Fleece. The design features newly developed side gussets on the body and a balanced silhouette that offers a fit somewhere between standard and relaxed. Known for rare manufacturing techniques that modern machinery cannot replicate, the fabric offers exceptional durability and molds naturally to the body.
The collection is available now at LOOPWHEELER stores in Sendagaya, Osaka, and Fukuoka, as well as the KUON Flagship Store and Online Store.
