adidas is reintroducing the Intimidation model this year, giving the retro silhouette from the ’90s new life by launching a fresh slip-on variation.
The new slip-on silhouette features significant design changes, most notably the absence of a lacing system. It now includes a sock-like knit textile for a secure fit and a nylon textile cage shell, replacing the original plastic one. Two colorways will be available for its first release, including a sleek triple black version and a lighter beige pair with a black cage and neon green accents.
Over the past decades, the adidas Intimidation has been significant in shaping the brand’s future designs. Its distinctive sole unit, in particular, significantly influenced the YEEZY 500. It was then followed by successful releases in collaborations with Packer in 2024 and with HAL STUDIOS early this year.
