Co-produced by Carpenter alongside Jack Antonoff and John Ryan, the 12-track set spans playful titles like “Go Go Juice” and pointed ballads such as “We Almost Broke Up Again Last Night.”
Anchoring the album is lead single “Manchild,” first released back in June with a Western-inspired music video that cast Carpenter as an empowered drifter traversing scorched horizons, perfectly reflecting her knack for marrying tongue-in-cheek lyricism with heartfelt candor.
