When Whirlpool® and Big Boi set out to create the freshest collab in the laundry game, they knew the music had to hit just as hard as the product.

The partnership’s limited-edition Whirlpool® Front Load Washer – which you can win as a giveaway – plays Outkast’s “So Fresh, So Clean” after every wash. To continue the music-inspired experience of the collab, the brand also taps the incomparable DJ Mike Nasty. Known for blending house, hip-hop and R&B, the Memphis-born, Brooklyn-based DJ pulled from his Atlanta influences—especially icons like Outkast—to curate the official Rinse and Spin Playlist for the ‘So Fresh, So Clean’ Washing Machine Giveaway. His ear for funk and soulful rhythms captures the spirit of freshness the campaign celebrates. By weaving his diverse musical DNA into the project, Mike Nasty set the tone for a collab that’s equal parts cultural tribute and lifestyle statement.

The playlist is a seamless extension of that Atlanta energy. It kicks off with Outkast’s “So Fresh, So Clean,” then layers in funk-heavy classics like Kool & the Gang’s “Funky Stuff” and Zapp’s “Dance Floor,” alongside Mike Nasty’s own “Cosmic Funk.” Each track is chosen with purpose—keeping things upbeat, playful, and, above all, fresh. It’s the kind of lineup that transforms laundry from a chore into a groove, making the spin cycle feel like a party.

That spirit carries straight into the product itself. The limited-edition Whirlpool® Front Load Washer doesn’t just sparkle with hand-placed crystals—it plays “So Fresh, So Clean” at the end of every wash. On the inside, the FreshFlow™ Vent System works to help keep both your clothes and the machine fresh even after the cycle ends. By fusing performance with personality, Whirlpool brand and Big Boi have reimagined what it means to stay fresh.

Atlanta has shaped the sound of hip-hop for decades, and Outkast gave “freshness” an entire anthem. By bringing in Mike Nasty to curate the playlist, Whirlpool tapped into that same funk-driven legacy, proving that freshness is as much about rhythm and style as it is about clean clothes. The result? A washer that connects music, technology, and lifestyle in one fun and fresh experience.
