Casablanca's Latest New Balance 327 Collaboration Features Red Monogrammed Patterns
The French brand’s fourth go-around with the popular lifestyle silhouette.
There’s an argument to be made that Charaf Tajer‘s Casablanca played a large part in the early success of the New Balance 327: its duo of brightly-hued collaborative takes from April 2020 helped give the then-fledgling New Balance silhouette its wings. Since then, Casablanca has dropped two more 327 collaborations — a duo of clean colorways in June 2020 and a monogrammed style this February — and now it’s set for a whopping fourth collaborative effort in just over a year, namely a red monogrammed makeup.
Encouraging a life of leisure with a “Step Into Your Comfort Zone” slogan, this 327 features a sporty upper crafted of white perforated leather. Overlaying this base is its signature red and green monogram pattern, a color-flipped take of a previous print that appears on the fanged toebox overlays as well as the mudguard and heel. The large midfoot N logo is done up in rich red leather and trimmed with green, and a seperate strip of monogrammed fabric runs up the thin nylon throat before coming to rest on the tongue. Finishing touches of detail are provided by sandy tan suede eyestays, gold aglets and a two-tone foam midsole that sits above a green nubbed outsole.
At the time of writing, a release date for this new Casablanca x New Balance 327 has yet to be announced. However, it’ll likely be priced at $150 USD.
