Last month, adidas Originals unveiled the ’90s-inspired Ozweego in “FTWR White/Solar Green.” The Three Stripes has returned with the latest colorway of the sneaker, this time showing slightly sharper hues and bolder contrasts.

Among all the design iterations that have made it onto the latest Ozweego mold, the most significant ones are vintage ’90s cues that have been taken from the Ozweego III from ‘98. Its multi-layered uppers and hefty build give the sneakers its distinctive throwback characteristics, while the addition of an improved adiPRENE+ midsole offers a refreshing contemporary outlook at the same time. Lightly tinted neon pipes run through a solid blue lace cage and suede side panels that appear near the collar. “Solar Yellow” accents are added to the three stripes branding, framed by thin blue lines. The body is made up of breathable mesh and subtle patches of neoprene placed at the toe box and heel. Premium suede shows up slightly above the cream-colored adiPRENE+ midsole – articulated ridges and grid-like textures are contrasted against a black outsole that’s slightly raised at the heel.

The adidas Originals Ozweego “Solar Yellow/Blue” is currently available at SSENSE.COM for $120 USD.
